WHAT'S NEW 2026!

I’ve been spending the start of this year deep in preparation for my upcoming show. Most days find me in my garage studio, working through new ideas and figuring out how this next body of work wants to come together. This period has been an important shift for me, both in how I work and how I care for my creative energy.

Working toward this show has helped me understand my process in a new way. Instead of pushing for constant daily production, I’ve learned to give myself full art days and full days of rest. That balance has allowed space for focus, experimentation, and clarity. The work feels more intentional because of it.

At the same time, I’ve been spending more time in community through my work at Myrtle Press inside Verge Art Center. Being in the studio environment, assisting others, and teaching printmaking has reinforced how much I value shared spaces and collective making. Those conversations and moments of collaboration have quietly shaped this new work as well.

This upcoming show reflects a period of growth, recalibration, and commitment to my practice. It represents time spent listening to my instincts, slowing down where needed, and letting the work unfold naturally. I’m looking forward to sharing these new pieces with you and inviting you into this next chapter when the show opens.

SAC OPEN STUDIOS!

🎨 We’re In! Sac Open Studios This September

I'm excited to announce that I'll be participating in Sac Open Studios this September alongside the incredibly talented LeeAnee Chappell!

This annual, self-guided art tour—hosted by Verge Center for the Arts—is one of Sacramento’s most vibrant art events, connecting local artists with the community in a casual, open-door setting.

LeeAnee and I will be turning upstairs at Bella Bru Cafe into a pop up creative space to showcase recent works, share our process, and connect with visitors. Expect original paintings, prints, works on paper, and behind-the-scenes views of our unique processes.

Whether you're an art collector, fellow maker, or just curious about the creative process, we’d love to see you!

Join My Newsletter!

Hi friends,

I’ve started a newsletter to share more of what doesn't always make it online: the layered, messy, sometimes magical parts of making.

Expect a mix of sketchbook scribbles and finished prints, deep dives into my printmaking process, behind-the-scenes glimpses from the studio, and thoughts on artmaking, memory, place, and whatever is currently sparking curiosity. I’ll also share side projects I’m excited about, whether that’s collaborative work, artist books in progress, experiments with materials, or upcoming exhibitions and open calls.

If you’re into the rhythm of process, the story behind the work, or just want to follow along with a creative life in motion, I’d love to have you on the list.

It won’t be spammy or overly polished, just thoughtful updates every so often, straight from me to you.

Thanks for being part of it. Sign up below.
